ABOUT EUROPEISKA

About Europeiska

Our business idea
Europeiska’s aim is to provide safety for the traveller before, during and after the trip. Our own widespread service network, Euro-Centers, are situated in 16 countries all over the world. If anything happens during the trip Europeiska's customers can contact Europeiska, Euro-Center, or Euro-Alarm, our emergency centre that offers assistance by Swedish-, and Scandinavian-speaking staff 24 hours a day year-round. We have a unique ability to provide assistance locally, with service and financial assistance to travellers who fall ill or sustain accidents, no matter where they are.

Europeiska products
Europeiska is one of the major insurance providers on the Swedish market for leisure and business travelers as well as expatriates. We annually insure 2 million leisure travelers, 1,5 million business travelers and 15 000 expatriates in over 100 countries around the world. We also provide a special insurance for hearing aids, watches and jewellery, and also provide 500 000 children in day care and schools. Europeiska co-operates with most of the large Swedish tour operators and travel agents.

History
Europeiska was founded in 1920 and has 100 employees at the head office in Sundbyberg, Sweden. Since 1995 Europeiska is a wholly owned subsidiary of European International Holding A/S, based in Copenhagen, and part of the Münchener Rück Group with head office in München.
