If you do not agree with our valuation of the damaged property, you can ask for an independent valuation.

Committee for Bodily Injury Liability Insurance and Committee for Accident and Sickness
Examines interpretation and scope of terms and conditions at the request of Europeiska, if you so wish. Call Europeiska and ask for an examination by the Board. This examination is free.

Court of law
Even if your claim has been examined by one of the boards mentioned above, you can turn to the courts. Assistance with the costs of a review by a court is available through either the public legal aid service which contributes to litigation costs after a means test or the legal expenses insurance. In many cases the legal expenses part of the insurance can be used.

Limitation

If you wish to claim compensation, you will lose this right if you fail to commence an action against Europeiska within three years from when you became aware that a claim could be enforced, and in any case within ten years from the earliest point at which the claim could have been enforced.

If you have reported the matter to Europeiska within the period stipulated in the previous paragraph, you always have six months in which to commence an action after Europeiska has made a final decision with regard to compensation.
